Our swearing-in took place in the Philharmonia, a large concert facility in the center of Bishkek. 60 of the original 62 trainees swore in as volunteers, a remarkably high number. To the left, you can see a member of the band that accompanied us as we sang a traditional Kyrgyz song to close the program.
